When you arrive you will find them clean, with fresh bed linen and towels provided. Your welcome tray will enable you to sit and have a cup of tea with homemade cake before unpacking your car.
The cottages are warm (full central heating) and welcoming with a fire in the lounge (first load of logs provided in cottages with log burning stoves November to March).
The kitchens are equipped with everything you could possibly want including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine with tumble dryer. Lounges have a remote control colour television, video recorder and music centre. When the sun shines you will be able to sit outside in your own patio area where garden furniture and a barbeque is provided.
If you are staying with us for or week, or longer, you will receive a complimentary basket of local produce. As well as the cakes, eggs and flowers you will also receive a basket full of seasonal foods all of which have been produced locally. It may include cider or perry from fruit grown and pressed on the farm, hand made sausages from our award winning butcher in the next village, a selection of fruits, home made bread, cheese, ice cream--it just depends on the time of year.
Children and dogs are most welcome in any of the cottages (please notify us about your dogs at time of booking). We do not charge extra for your dogs and we provide a paddock (access via a stile) for you to exercise them on the farm.
Parking for up to two cars is provided near your cottage. Further parking is available at the front of the farmhouse.
Our cottages are nearly four hundred years old and have some quirky features. If you have special access requirements please discuss them with us before booking.
We try to make the cottages "something special". Children and Pets Welcome (no charge for pets)
